At a young age, Angela was given a beautiful French master violin to encourage and further her musical talent. She was fascinated not only by its wonderful sound, but also by the aesthetics of the instrument and its red varnish that is typical of fine French instruments. This fascination for both music and instrument; the artistic need to create new things by hand led her to violin making.

After finishing the school of violin making in Mittenwald she spent four valuable years in Switzerland at the workshop of Mark Wilhelm. Here the focus was on sound adjustment, as well as repair and restoration of valuable instruments. She also profited greatly from collaborative work during this time with Philip Ihle, Boris Haug and Friederike Dangel.

During her subsequent studies in stringed instrument making at the University of Applied Sciences in Markneukirchen, Angela along with her partner Florian devoted themselves to an intensive study of modern and historic instrument making, along with the acoustic and physical properties of these instruments. Upon completing her studies in 2021, she received the title of master violin maker.

Positive feedback from happy customers, as well as successful participation in competitions and exhibitions provide her with motivation and inspiration. She also enjoys an ongoing exchange with colleagues which continues to enrich and expand her professional insights.

2022 brought many new changes; both the arrival of a new family member, and the move to their own workshop in Eppingen.
